He had been suffering from cancer for several months. Mr. Fulton was born Sept. 26, 1905, in Ottumwa, the son of Wade P. and Elizabeth Jones Fulton. He lived here most of his life. He was a member of the First Lutheran church, where he served as a trustee for several years; Ottumwa lodge No. 16, A.F.&A.M.; Kiwanis club; Ottumwa lodge of Elks; and Ottumwa Country club. He was married Feb. 10, 1934, in Detroit, to Lula M. Hipsley, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Judith May Fulton at home; three brothers, Robert W. Fulton of Tampa, Fla., James E. Fulton of Newport Beach, Calif., and Henry T. Fulton of San Francisco, Calif.; and six sisters, Mrs. Max Bergau of San Francisco, Mrs. Opal F. Smith of Ottumwa, Mrs. Clyde Joens of Bloomfield, Mrs. John Rishel of Rydal, Penn., Mrs. M.G. Swords of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Jack Ashley of Evanston, Ill. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Lutheran church with the Rev. A.L. Lanhoff, D.D., officiating. Burial will be at Shaul cemetery, where masonic services will be held. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Taylor, James Tedford, Raymond Smith, John Parcel, James B. Williams and Raymond Hugen. The casket will remain at the Johnson funeral chapel until 11.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to the church and closed at the beginning of the service.
