Description	:	Floyd L. "Bud" Lowe, 95, formerly of Burden, died Nov. 14, 2007, at Cumbernauld Village in Winfield. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Miles Funeral Service. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 this evening. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8. A memorial has been established for the First Presbyterian Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Mr. Lowe was born on June 30, 1912, on a farm northeast of Winfield, to Walter A. and Bernice H. (Young) Lowe. He attended Harmony district grade school and graduated from Winfield High School in 1930. He and Grace Womacks married on Oct. 22, 1933, in Winfield. They made their home in rural Burden, and Bud was a lifelong farmer and rancher. The Lowes had resided on their farm for 73 years before moving to Cumbernauld Village this summer. Bud was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was also a life member of the Winfield Elks Club and had served on the Soil Conservation and Co-op boards. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and water skiing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carol Lowe. Survivors include his wife, Grace Lowe, Winfield; his daughters and their husbands, Jacquelyn (Lowe) and Ralph Russell, Winfield, and Janyth (Lowe) and J.C. Kunneman, Okarche, Okla.; his grandchildren and their spouses, Janna and Larry Nichols, Tulsa, Okla., Kyle and Debbie Russell, Derby, Kayla and Philip Hammer, Panhandle, Texas, and Lance and Donna Kunneman, Okarche; and his great-grandchildren, Adam Russell, Erik Russell, Lauren Russell, Kelby Nichols, Avery Nichols, Sarah Hammer, Travis Hammer, Macy Kunneman and Zachary Kunneman.
