Description	:	The funeral of the late Floyd L. Goetzman was held from the Methodist Episcopal church in Ogden Friday afternoon and was conducted by the Rev D. J. McKay of that church. Interment was made in the family lot in Glenwood cemetery. Floyd Leslie Goetzman was born in Paton, Greene county, Iowa, August 5, 1894, and died at the home of his parents, in Ogden, Boone county, Iowa April 8, 1913 aged 18 years, 8 months and 3 days. Floyd Leslie Goetzman was born in Paton, Greene county, Iowa, August 5, 1894, and died at the home of his parents, in Ogden, Boone county, Iowa April 8, 1913 aged 18 years, 8 months and 3 days. The deceased was the only son of Mr and Mrs Frank Goetzman. He was taken ill with measles about two weeks ago, and seemed to be making a speedy recovery. Later, pneumonia set in, this seemed to yield to treatment, and the danger point supposed to have been passed. But on Tuesday night, without cause or warning, a very serious change was apparent, and before anything could be done for him he slipped away without a struggle. Floyd was greatly attached to his home and to his mother and father. It was the desire to be with them and of assistance to them that prompted him a few weeks ago to purchase a team and enter the draying business with his father. He was an exceptionally affable and good hearted young man, a friend to everybody and a special favorite with his associates. His genial face and cherry word with be greatly missed by all who knew him.
