Read More	############### The Republican Courier April 4, 1950 Floyd Dishong, 54, passed away Sunday night at 11:30 in St. Vincent's Hospital, Toledo, Ohio where he had undergone an operation two weeks ago. He had lived all of his life in Jackson Twp. His father, Elias Dishong, made his home with him until his passing last June at the age of 86. Floyd was a prominent farmer and a good neighbor. The past few years he worked at the Buckeye Canning Co. at Weston as an engineer. He leaves his wife, Threassa, four children and three stepchildren; Howard and Duane Dishong, Mrs. Louis Heinze, Loraine and Iris Dishong, Gerald and Janice Stroll at home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Deshler Church of the Brethren.
