Description	:	Floyd R. Elsensohn 47, of Ottumwa, died Friday at St. Joseph hospital. In May 1960, he retired after 19 years as an Ottumwa police officer. The son of Frank and Wortha Elsensohn, he was born in Douds, July 28, 1915. He lived in Ottumwa for 30 years. Mr. Elsensohn served in the military police in WWII from May 26, 1942 to Nov. 7, 1945. Holabird, Baltimore, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Joan Dooley of Ottumwa; his mother, Mrs. Wortha Elsensohn of Douds; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife,Lucille, and by his father. The funeral will be Monday at 2 P.M. at the Jay Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery.
