Description	:	Mr. Floyd Rovy Wagoner, 91, our loving father and grandfather, of Michael Road, passed away Friday, July 2, 2004, at his home. He was born Oct. 24, 1912, in Marshalltown, Iowa to Rovy and Ethel Wagoner. Mr. Wagoner was a retired farmer and a faithful member of Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nicks Wagoner, on March 16, 1985; a sister, Juanita Steelman; and a brother, Dwight Wagoner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nicks Wagoner, on March 16, 1985; a sister, Juanita Steelman; and a brother, Dwight Wagoner. Surviving are his children, Billy (Anna Laura) Wagoner and Carol (Jim) Roberts, all of Boonville; a sister, Pauline W. Swaim of Boonville; four grandchildren, Ronald Wagoner, Duane Roberts, Melissa Roberts and Sandy (Mike) McCann; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Hunter. His funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 4, at Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dana Wooten and the Rev. Judith Davis. He will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, July 3, at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Yadkin, P.O. Box 1267, Yadkinville, NC 27055; or Mitchell's Chapel UMC, 2410 Center Road, Boonville, NC 27011. The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice, including a special thank you to Katrina and Swanea for all of their compassionate caring for our Daddy.
