Born Aug. 7, 1904 in Jefferson, he was a son of the late Alpha Theodore and Ella Mae Compher Moser. He was employed by Main's Meat Market, Middletown; Riddlemoser's Market, Frederick; and farmed in the Broad Run area for many years. Surviving in addition to his wife, are three sons, Raymond Leon Moser, Brunswick; Austin Theodroe Moser, Braddock Heights; and Harold Clark Moser, Jefferson; one daughter, Thelma Campbell, Boonsboro; one brother, John Samuel Moser, Middletown; two sisters, Helen Margaret Thrasher Brown, Jefferson; and Louise Catherine Butts Blair, Frederick; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clark Compher Moser and Austin Leroy Moser; one sister, Rita Dorothy Moser; one half-brother, Wilmer Wine Moser; and two half-sisters, Nannie Lucinda Moser and Edith Arnold Moser. Services were held at the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren, Burkittsville; interment was in the church cemetery; Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, Middletown was in charge of arrangements.
