Reibsamen, Ex-Titonkan, Dies Sept. 17 Titonka - Word was received by relatives here of the death of Forrest Reibsamen, who died unexpectedly Sept. 17 at Baudette, Minn, at his summer home. He was 68 years of age. He had retired in 1969 as vice president of First State Bank in Britt, was a director of the bank and secretary of the board of directors. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a resident of Britt for many years. On July 9, 1927 he was married to Fern Fillenwarth at Owatonna, Minn. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Roger of Corwith and Thomas of Hampton; one daughter, Mrs. Cletus (Jeanette) West of Wesley and many other relatives. Forrest Reibsamen will be remembered by many Titonka people, having been born here on Dec. 18, 1905, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Reibsamen. He received his early schooling in the local school. Obituary from the "Topic" of Titonka, Iowa dated 27 Sep 1973: Funeral Services Held For Forrest Reibsamen Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 21 at the United Methodist Church in Britt for Forrest Reibsamen, 67, who died unexpectedly at his summer home at Baudette, Minn, on Sept. 17. Mr. Reibsamen retired in 1967 as vice president of the First State Bank in Britt. He was a director of the bank and served as secretary of the board of directors. He was member of the Masonic Lodge and a resident of Britt for many years. On July 9, 1927, he was married to Fern Fillenwarth at Owatonna, Minn. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Roger of Corwith and Thomas of Hampton, one daughter, Mrs. Cletus (Jeanette) West of Wesley, and many other relatives.
