Description	:	Funeral services for Foster Lee Hain, who died March 5, 1976, at Colonial Manor, Odebolt, were held at the Huebner Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, with the Reverend Cecil C. Latta officiating. Foster, son of Jasper and Malinda (nee Slater) Hain was born July 10, 1894 on a farm near Buck Grove, where he spent his childhood. Read More	Funeral services for Foster Lee Hain, who died March 5, 1976, at Colonial Manor, Odebolt, were held at the Huebner Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, with the Reverend Cecil C. Latta officiating. Foster, son of Jasper and Malinda (nee Slater) Hain was born July 10, 1894 on a farm near Buck Grove, where he spent his childhood. He chose barbering as his profession and had owned shops in Iowa and Nebraska. He had barbered more than forty years when ill health forced him to retire in 1959. On June 14, 1918, he was married to Berniece Stephens of Denison, with the Reverend J.L. Boyd, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. On July 25, 1918, he left Denison to serve with the Armed Forces in France, during World War I. Upon his return the following year, he and Mrs. Hain moved to Dalton, Nebr., where they lived one year before returning to Denison where they continued to make their home. To this union three children were born (Uteva) Mrs. Keith Stutzman of Denison and twins (Fostina) Mrs. Fostina Taffar of Rosemead, Calif., and Foster Lee, who died at the age of four months, twenty-two days. Mr. and Mrs. Hain observed their 57th wedding anniversary on June 14, 1975. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, his son-in-law, five granddaughters, one grandson, four great grandchildren, one sister-in-law (Mabel) Mrs. Frank Hain of St. Paul, Minnesota, and other relatives and friends. Military services were conducted. Interment was made in the Oakland Cemetery. Denison Review March 13, 1976
