Description	:	born in Czechoslovakia From a newspaper: Mrs. Franci Focher, 78, a Huntley Project resident for 40 years, was found dead late Saturday in the yard of her home five miles east of Ballantine, it was reported Monday at the office of the County Coroner Mel Boice. The body was discovered by a son Lawrence Focher. It appeared Mrs. Focher had left the house to feed her chickens when she apparently suffered a sudden heart attack. Mrs. Focher was born Sept. 14, 1875, at Haluici, Czechoslovakia. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Lipensky. She came to the United States in 1899 and settled 1st in Chicago. She was married to Vinzent Focher in Pueblo, Colo., in 1910 and they settled on the Huntley Project in 1913. Mr. Focher died here in 1936. Beside her son, Mrs. Focher is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Frances J. Hartford of Canton, Ill., Mrs. Victor Ballek of Nibbe, Mrs. William Turner of Paso Robles, Calif., and Mrs, Eugene M. Olsen of Cresswell, Ore., and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Franci Focher 78, of Ballintine, were conducted at Smith Chapel Saturday by Rev. Gale Anderson of the Ballintine Congregational Church.
