McKeown, Aug. 21, 1941, from the Methodist Church in Loretto for Mrs. Walter Kendrick, who passed away at her home west of Loretto Tuesday evening, August 19th. Burial was in Rose Hill cem- etery at Albion. Frances Agnes Watson was born in Oberlin, Kansas, June 5, 1890. She came to Albion as a child with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wat- son. Here she spent her girlhood and attend school. June 1, 1915, she was married to Walter D. Kendrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Kendrick, pioneer residents of Boone county. For the past several years she had been in poor health. The last six months be- ing unable to lve her bed. She as an active member of the Loretto Methodist Church, and local social societies as long as health permitted. The large crowd of friends, the many lovely floral offer- ings, and the many kindnesses of her neighbors all testifred to the high es- tem in which she was held by those who knew her. She bore her last sickness and suffing with great pa- tience and fortitude. Surviving her are the husband, Walter, nephew, Brandon Kendrick, who was raised in their home; and one brothers, Rex A. Watson of Lincoln, and one sister, Mrs. Jens Nielsen of Albion, who attended her so faithfully all during her last mouths of illness. Mrs. Kendrick was kind and loving wife, a good neighbor and will be missed in church and home community. -------- CARD OF THANKS We wish to acknowledge our debt of gratude to the many friends and helpful to us during the illness and following the death of our loved one. we also want to express our appre- ciation of the beautiful floral tokens.
