Death came at St John's Hospital at Huron Feb 9 at the age 79 years 5 month and 4 daysShe leaves to mourn her passing 2 sons, Will of Lake Preston and Tom of De Smet and 2 daughters Mrs John Lundquist and Mrs Otto Lundquist of De Smet; 26 Grandchildren and 20 great grand children, also her only sister of Tarrytown, New York.Funeral services were held in St Thomas Catholic Church and burial was in the Catholic Cemetery.Attending the funeral fro a distance were Mr and Mrs Ronald Garrey, Larchwood, Iowa and Mrs Delbert Franzen of Sioux Falls. Mr. Garrey and Mrs.Franzen being grandchildren. Pallbearers were Merle Melstad, TJ Williamson, Frank Rousar, Tom Coughlin, Je O'Keege and AJ Ryland.Card of ThanksWe wish to thank the ladies' aid and all our friends and neighbors for their many acts of kindness during the illness and death of our mother. The Garrey and Lundquist families.
