Mrs. Larson's case is one of the especially sad ones of the present time as it removed a loving mother from her family. Mrs. Larson's case is one of the especially sad ones of the present time as it removed a loving mother from her family. Mrs. Larson gave birth to a baby daughter thirteen days before her death, but death resulted as an outcome of an operation for appendicitis, Mrs. Larson underwent two operations in only a few days before her death, the operations being performed by Dr. Dwyer of Omaha and all that medical skill and loving hands could do to allay her suffering was done but to no avail and death finally came on the day of February 11. She was united in marriage to Mr. Ferdinand Larson, February 3, 1913, at St. Patrick's Church. Mrs. Larson leaves besides her husband, Matthew aged 7, Harold aged 3 and a *baby daughter only 13 days old. She also leaves a mother and a number of brothers and sisters all of whom will miss a kind and loving daughter and sister. She was the youngest daughter of Paulina Berens. Mrs. Larson has lived all her life in this vicinity and numbered her friends by her acquaintances and made a brave fight for life, but at last had to give up the fight. She was baptized, married and buried from the St. Patrick's Church. Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Gepson of Omaha, Mrs. Gepson is a sister of Mrs. Larson and Mr. and Mrs. Sherm Callender and Mrs. George Powely of Woodbine.
