The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Liborius Catholic Church, Polo, with the Rev. Roger Geditz officiating. Burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Polo. She spent her younger years working in Chicago, in 1922 she came to South Dakota to live with her sister Anna. She married Emil Kolda February 12, 1923. They lived on a farm near Polo for 25 years. They moved to Orient in 1948 and lived there for 31 years. He died in 1964. Since February of 1979 she had been a resident of the Prairie Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of the St. Joseph Altar Society. She is survived by one son, Joseph Kolda, Miler; one daughter, Mrs. Victor (Marion) Martinmaas, Orient; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Emma Klotz and Mrs. Bozina Koutsky, Algoma, WI and Mrs. Lilly Offner, Lemont, IL.
