Mrs Hoyer had been employed at Rieke Corp for 20 years. She was a member of the Auburn Church of Christ, Bible Study Club of Hudson, Mt Zion Methodist Ladies Aid and Modern Woodmen of America. She was born Dec 4, 1919 in Pleasant Lake to Brownie and Nettie (Myers) Grate. Her first husband Clair E Erwin died in 1976, and her second husband Paul T Hoyer died in 1998. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law of Auburn; a daughter and son-in-law of Fort Wayne; a brother, Harold Grate of Corunna; four stepsons; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Hilda Treesh, and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be at 2 pm today at Johnson Funeral Home in Hudson with Joe Heins officiating. Burial will be in Mt Zion Cemetery at Pleasant Lake. Calling will be after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
