Description	:	Frances E. Martini, 87, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Pella Regional Health Center. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19 beginning after 1:00 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 20, 2011 at the Harvey Assembly of God Church with Pastor Michael Miller officiating. Read More	Frances E. Martini, 87, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Pella Regional Health Center. Private family burial will take place at Zion Cemetery in Pershing, Iowa. Frances was born on May 9, 1923, in Colfax, Iowa to William A. and Margaret (Kaldenberg) Marshall. She grew up in Pershing and attended school in Attica. Frances was married to John Visser in 1941, and lived on the Harvey Island where he farmed and Frances was a homemaker and mother to their three children. The couple later moved back to Pershing in 1949 and then later divorced. In 1952, Frances and the children moved to California where she lived with family and she began working at IBM, Lockheed Martin and Mirannies Strawberry Cannery. Frances married Emerald Prickett in 1972; he passed away suddenly in 1995. Frances then married Richard Martini but then he passed away due to injuries from an automobile accident that the couple was involved in on a vacation in 1999. After the accident Frances returned to Pershing and resided there for the remainder of her life. Frances loved going to church and was a long time member of the Harvey Assembly of God Church. One of the last things she did for her church was to bake 2 cakes for the monthly birthday and anniversary celebrations for the other members. She enjoyed cooking, reading, music, and really enjoyed fishing. She was loving and generous to other people who may have been in need. Frances in survived by her three children, Bill Visser and his wife Anna Marie of Harvey, IA; Kay Miller of Sunnyvale, CA; and Pamela Zibura and her husband Tony of Moncks Corner, SC; 10 grandchildren, Johnny, Francine, Elizabeth, Ann, David, Tammy, Alex, Julia and Debbie, 6 step grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, 1 granddaughter, Maria, 2 brothers, Ed and Morris Marshall, 2 sisters, Donna Williams and Barbara Marshall. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed by all her family & friends.
