Description	:	Frances (Easler) Moore, 83, of Chesnee, SC, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. She was the loving wife of John Oliver Moore for 61 years and daughter of the late Lee and Esther Easler. Mrs. Moore was an alumnus of Converse College and received a Master's Degree in English. She taught in Spartanburg schools for 30 years where she took immense pride in her students and their accomplishments. She will be remembered for her positive spirit and enduring faith. She was the loving wife of John Oliver Moore for 61 years and daughter of the late Lee and Esther Easler. Mrs. Moore was an alumnus of Converse College and received a Master's Degree in English. She taught in Spartanburg schools for 30 years where she took immense pride in her students and their accomplishments. She will be remembered for her positive spirit and enduring faith. She was a charter member of Cannons Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was currently a member at Crossroads Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Johnny L. Moore (Mary), Lynn M Bagwell (Rick), Alan E. Moore (Jennifer) of Spartanburg, SC, Debra M Cox (Roger) of Roebuck, SC and Ann M. Davis of Boiling Springs, SC; brothers, Hugh Easler (Martha) of Williamsburg, VA and George Easler of Kings Mountain; and sisters-in-law, Jackie Easler and Darla Moore of Spartanburg, SC. She is predeceased by a brother, Leroy Easler; brother-in-law, Dwight Moore; and sister-in-law, Janice Easler. She was the grandmother and great-grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who brought much joy to her life. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held 11:00 am, Friday, September 21, 2012, at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee, SC, with Rev. Michael Bradley and Rev. Sal Barone officiating. Visitation followed the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Crossroad Baptist Church, 130 Conway Black Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 or to Converse College, 580 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
