Frankie was born Sept. 21, 1909, the daughter of Edwin and Marietta (Hoskins) Hyde in Scotland County, Mo. On Oct. 11, 1941, she married Charles Cochran in Memphis, Mo. She worked at a beauty shop in Ottumwa, then owned and operated Frankies Beauty Shop in Milton, Iowa. In 1956, the couple moved to Marion and Frankie worked at Bezdeks for many years. Frankie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion and the First United Methodist Women and Quilting Group. Thanks to Peggy Dochterman for providing Frankie's full name.
