Born and raised in Fountain Inn, she was a daughter of the late Mack and Beatrice Parsons. Betty was a beautician for 50 years before retiring. Read More	Frances Elizabeth Gault Fountain Inn Mrs. Frances Elizabeth (Betty) Gault, 84, of Fountain Inn, went to be with her Lord Saturday, February 2, 2008, at The Springs in Simpsonville. Born and raised in Fountain Inn, she was a daughter of the late Mack and Beatrice Parsons. Betty was a beautician for 50 years before retiring. Mrs. Gault was known for her activities, such as yard work, cooking and being (Nana) to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very active in her church, Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was in the choir, a youth leader and in charge of Worship Alter Guild. Betty was also was a member of Legion Auxiliary Post #123, and Methodist Women. Mrs. Gault is survived by a son, Samual L. Gault Jr.(Becky of Fountain Inn); three daughters, Peggy Culp (John of Columbia), Sandra Gilmore (Tommy) of Ashville and Bea Akins (Myot of Fountain Inn). She is also survived by a sister, Margaret Foster of Mayo. "Nana" had nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Samual L. Gault Sr., a sister, Nelle Casey and a brother, Mack Parson. The family would like to express its appreciation to the staff at The Springs and Heartland Hospice for the excellent care given. Visitation will be Sunday February 3, 2008, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn. Funeral services will be Monday February 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. in Trinity United Methodist Church, with interment in Cannon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 403 S. Weston Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. Cannon Funeral Home of Fountain Inn is serving the family.
