Born in Gaffney, S.C. she was the widow of Edward Leroy Bright and daughter of the late William Daniel Easler and Alma Susie Gordon Easler. She retired from textiles and was a faithful member of North East Fellowship for 46 years, where she was a member of the Golden Agers. Surviving are two sons, Bruce Wayne Bright and wife, Sharron, and Mickey Lynn Bright and wife, Kim, all of Gaffney; a brother, Arthur Easler of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Sarah Anderson and husband, Stephen, and Brad Bright; two great-grandchildren, Caroline Anderson and Carlee Anderson; and three special nieces and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Bright; two brothers, Herman Easler and James Easler; and three sisters, Joyce Byars, Virginia Upchurch and Evelyn Easler. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 26, at North East Fellowship Church of God with Rev. James Garner officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to North East Fellowship Church of God, P.O. Box 1137, Gaffney, S.C. 29342.
