Description	:	Mrs. Frances Ledford Standley died at the home of her son, H.E. Standley on Saturday evening at 9:15 o'clock. The deceased was over eighty years of age and death due to cancer. The funeral occurred Monday afternoon from the Standley residence, Rev. H. F. Ritz, pastor of the Christian church officiating. The remains were laid to rest in East Linwood cemetery. She grew to womanhood and there was united in marriageto Thomas Standley. Shortly afterwards they came west and settled in Ottumwa, Iowa. To this union were born ten children. In 1865 her husband died and she remained a widow until 1885, when she was married to G.W. Ledford of Unionville, Missouri. Three years afterwards her second husband died and she came to Boone and has since made her home here. The children who survive and mourn her death are W.G., H.E., Mrs Lou Gifford, Mrs Sronia Drake, all of this city. A daughter in law, De Emma Standley of Alexis, Illinois, and a niece, Mrs William West of Minbburn, Iowa, were here to attend the funeral.
