Description	:	' Frances G "Fannie" (Thaxton) McEwen was born in March 1865 in Tennessee, the daughter of Houston Joiner Thaxton (1832–1899) and his 1st wife America (Bonner) McEwen (1836-1870), whom he married on October 5, 1853 in Warren County. She was married on December 24, 1897 in Warren County as the 2nd wife of Albert McEwen (1843–1932). As of the 1900 and 1910 censuses, Fannie was listed as having had no children. She was married on December 24, 1897 in Warren County as the 2nd wife of Albert McEwen (1843–1932). As of the 1900 and 1910 censuses, Fannie was listed as having had no children. Living at 302 Arrington, Nashville, Fannie was 69 years old and a widow when she died at home of the flu on January 1, 1935. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery. Much of the above is from her Death Certificate, with G C Thaxton of Dayton, Ohio as the informant.
