Read More	The Burrton Graphic (Burrton, Kansas) - 17 June 1915, Thu - Page 1 Obituary Frances Perry was born in Missouri, August 13, 1855. Died in Burrton, Kas., June 9, 1915, aged 59 years, 9 months and 25 days. She was united in marriage with J. E. McElwain, March 12, 1882. To this union three children were born, two of whom are living to mourn her loss, Lulu E. and Jessie E. One child died in infancy. With her husband she came to the western part oF Kansas in 1885 and in 1889 they came to Burrton living her and in the immediate vicinity until her death. In early womanhood she was converted and united with the Presbyterian church and later the Methodist Episcopal church remaining a faithful member of this church till her death. She leaves to mourn her death the husband, the two daughters, a mother, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held in the home conducted by Rev. D. C. Shields of the Methodist Episcopal church assisted by Rev. Kirkpatrick of the Presbyterian church. Servant of God, well done; Thy glorious warfare's past. The battle's fought, the race is won.
