Description	:	On October 25, 2015, Frances “Jeanne” Georges, peacefully left this world. The youngest of five daughters born in Gilman, Iowa to Emilie Hill Huston and John Henry Huston, Jeanne later married and raised a family in Waukegan, IL. After thirteen years employed at Abbott Laboratories, she relocated to Iowa City and later to Fort Wayne, IN, to be near family members. Jeanne was a lover of reading, music, and cats, enjoyed golf and bridge, and was a talented writer and painter. The youngest of five daughters born in Gilman, Iowa to Emilie Hill Huston and John Henry Huston, Jeanne later married and raised a family in Waukegan, IL. After thirteen years employed at Abbott Laboratories, she relocated to Iowa City and later to Fort Wayne, IN, to be near family members. Jeanne was a lover of reading, music, and cats, enjoyed golf and bridge, and was a talented writer and painter. She is survived by her children Liz Paymer (David), Paul Georges (Dodie), Anne Georges, and Ray Georges; grandchildren; sister Joanne Peterson, of Iowa City; nephews, nieces, and special childhood friends. All who knew her loved her, and will miss her intellect and sense of humor. A celebration of her 84 years is planned for this summer in Gilman, to be announced later.
