Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Lydia Cornelia Hill and Joseph Berry Epps. She is survived by her husband, Leo Grady Glasby. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Lydia Cornelia Hill and Joseph Berry Epps. She is survived by her husband, Leo Grady Glasby. They were life-long residents of William-ston and were married for 74 years. Mrs. Glasby had four children: Daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Edward Erwin, of Williamston, Sally and Clarence Breazeale, of Seneca; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert L. and Betty Sue Glasby, of Williamston, and James Daniel and Alicia Glasby, of Murfreesboro, N.C.; 10 grand-children, Kim and Woody Simmons, of Williamston, Philip and Julie Erwin, of California, William R. and Tammy Glasby, of Williamston, William Gregory and Tammy Glasby, of Granite Falls, N.C., Katherine and Andrew Smith of Murfreesboro, N.C., Christopher Glasby of Birmingham, Ala., April Breazeale of Greenville, Stephanie Breazeale of Charleston and Robert Benjamin of Seneca; and great-grandchildren, Cindy Simmons of Baltimore, Md., Calvin Simmons of Williamston, Madalyn Smith of Murfreesboro, N.C., Alicia Glasby of Birmingham, Ala., Ashley Glasby and John Glasby of Williamston, and Philip Erwin II of Las Vegas, Nev. She was predeceased by a great-grandson, Aaron Joseph Erwin. She was very close to Parker and Ruth Worthy, a nephew and niece, in Arcadia, Calif. She was the last member of her immediate family. She enjoyed the membership and spiritual fellowship of Calvary Baptist Church for 79 years, and was past associate matron of the Eastern Star in Williamston. Everybody in her family, and her adopted family at National Health Care, will remember her as a loving person, helping people in many ways. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Calvary Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Clarence Freeman. The Happy Ladies Sunday School Class and the Conrad Davenport Sunday School Class of Calvary Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m., and the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, at the church.
