The bodies of Frank Dudek, 50; his two daughters, Bessie, 20, and Frances, 18; and son, Charles, 21, who was driving the car, lay in the wreckage for more than an hour while ambulance attendants tried to extricate them from the twisted steel. Mrs Grace Bengston of Lincoln, an occupant of the motor train, was injured when the rear car of the two-car train was derailed. The automobile was thrown more than 150 feet and the train careened down the track for about 100 yards before the front coach toppled over. Lincoln, NE Evening State Journal; 19 Jan 1937; Page 1 QUADRUPLE FUNERAL HELD Probably the first quadruple funeral service in Lancaster county was held Tuesday morning at Agnew, for Frank J. Dudek, his daughters, Bessie and Frances and son, Charles. The four were killed Saturday night when a motor train struck their car at the crossing north of Raymond. Of the family, only Mrs. Dudek and a son, Adolph, 17, were left. Charles was 21 years old, Bessie 20 and Frances 18. Brief services were held at the home at 9:30 o'clock, followed by requiem mass at St. Joseph's church. Father Rezebek, the pastor officiated, together with Father Barry of Colon and Father Bauer of Dwight. Pallbearers were from the C.Y.O. sodality, of which Charles Dudek was a member. Burial was at Agnew.
