Description	:	Francis Bunting, 69 of rural Barnes City passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Mahaska Health Partnership in Oskaloosa. Francis Alfred Bunting, son of Bevan and Inez (Lloyd) Bunting was born on November 27, 1942 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, He attended Montezuma High School. On February 4, 1967, Francis was united in marriage to Virginia Westercamp at the Union Mills Christian Church. To this union two daughters were born, Jennifer and Stephanie. Francis Alfred Bunting, son of Bevan and Inez (Lloyd) Bunting was born on November 27, 1942 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, He attended Montezuma High School. On February 4, 1967, Francis was united in marriage to Virginia Westercamp at the Union Mills Christian Church. To this union two daughters were born, Jennifer and Stephanie. Francis farmed and raised cattle in the New Sharon, Barnes City and Montezuma areas most of his life. He enjoyed cars; especially his 1964 409 Chevy Impala SS, drag racing and attending the Iowa State Fair. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Virginia Bunting; two daughters, Jennifer(Mathew)Reisetter and Stephanie(Travis)McSparen; four grandchildren, Mercedes Doty, Mason Reisetter, Jillian Reisetter and Jentry Reisetter and his special cousins, Duane(Kay)Bunting, Deon(Ron)Marsh, Sue Vander Molen, Janet(Mike)Pappian, Jerry Baker, Debbie(Doug) Stanton and Terry(Mary)Lloyd. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Bevan and Inez Bunting. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm Friday, October 26, 2012 at the New Sharon First Christian Church with Pastor Phillip Schrauben officiating. Interment will be held in the Union Mills Cemetery at Union Mills. Visitation will begin after 2 pm Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the New Sharon First Christian Church with the family present from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the family's name to determine a memorial at a later time.
