Those of his family who survive him are his four sons, George J. and Amos M. both of Clarks, Arthur F. of Humboldt, Iowa and Elmer C. Gates of Charles City, Iowa. One brother, William Gates of Clarks and one sister, Mrs. Frank Coyle of Clarks. Six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other more distant relatives Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Zellers of Page, Miss Grace Zellers of Chambers and Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Busher and Mrs. E. Ihusen of Hastings.
