Description	:	Francis was the daughter of Moses Mishler and Julia Ann Domer and was born in Ohio about 1844. The family was still in Ohio in 1850 - but in Bremer County, Iowa by 1852. Francis married Jacob Winklepleck in Bremer County on Jan. 8, 1858 - but he apparently died very soon after their marriage - and Francis married Essex Farris on December 12,1859. Essex had previously been married to her older sister Catherine for a few years. In 1860 Essex and Francis were living in Fulton County, Illinois - which is where the Farris families had migrated... Read More	Francis was the daughter of Moses Mishler and Julia Ann Domer and was born in Ohio about 1844. The family was still in Ohio in 1850 - but in Bremer County, Iowa by 1852. Francis married Jacob Winklepleck in Bremer County on Jan. 8, 1858 - but he apparently died very soon after their marriage - and Francis married Essex Farris on December 12,1859. Essex had previously been married to her older sister Catherine for a few years. In 1860 Essex and Francis were living in Fulton County, Illinois - which is where the Farris families had migrated from in 1851. They had one son, Jeremiah E. Farris, born in 1862. Francis died in about 1869 - since Essex was a widower in 1870 and living, along with his eight year old son, with the family of his sister, Charlotte Farris Foutch. In December, 1870, Essex remarried to Lucinda Hillhouse. Catherine and Francis were both sisters of John Mishler, Washington Mishler and Susanna Mishler Tippey who are also buried in the Messinger Cemetery. There are no grave markers for any of these. A brother, Moses Mishler, is buried at Horton and a brother, Jonis Mishler, is buried at Waverly.
