Read More	FRANK DALTON IS ACCIDENT VICTIM Died as Result of Injuries Received When He Dropped From the Fast Train Frank Dalton, who was injured by dropping from the Atlantic Express on the Northwester railway between Wheatland and Calamus last Saturday morning, died last evening at Agatha hospital from complications arising from his injuries. The accident occurred when Dalton dropped from the outside of a closed vestibule of a sleeping car while the train was running at the rate of a mile a minute. He, together with several companions who had been attending a dance at Wheatland, attempted to board the train at that point just as it was pulling out and after the vestibules were closed. Dalton became exhausted by hanging on to the outside of the coach, and dropped from the rapidly moving train, both of his limbs being badly broken and mangled by the fall. He was picked up near Calamus and brought to Agatha hospital, where every effort was made to assist him towards recovery, but the setting in of acute blood poisoning caused his death. The deceased was a resident of St. Louis, but he had been visiting at the home of his parents near Calamus. The remains were taken to that place this morning for interment. An article from Jan 22 described how Frank's friends, realizing that he was missing when they got to Calamus, walked the tracks until they found him trying to crawl the 1/2 mile to town.
