Description	:	Frank Stewart was born in Pennsylvania December 29, 1829, and died Wednesday, March 13, 1918, at the home of his brother, I.W. Stewart, near Shannon City, IA., aged 88 years, two months and fifteen days. He was united in marriage to Miss Susan J. Henderson March 31, 1859, in Ohio, and soon after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Stewart moved to Warren County, IL., where they established their home. Read More	Frank Stewart was born in Pennsylvania December 29, 1829, and died Wednesday, March 13, 1918, at the home of his brother, I.W. Stewart, near Shannon City, IA., aged 88 years, two months and fifteen days. He was united in marriage to Miss Susan J. Henderson March 31, 1859, in Ohio, and soon after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Stewart moved to Warren County, IL., where they established their home. Thirteen sons were born to Mr. and Mrs. Stewart, twelve of whom grew to manhood. The wife and mother and three of the sons preceded the father in death. The nine living sons are J.R. of Ingomar, MT., W.W. of Mount Ayr, W.B. of Chicago, A.R. of Columbus, OH., J.T.O. of Minneapolis, MN., E.M. of Cherokee, IA., J.B. of Jefferson, IA., C.R. of Salina, KS. and F.H. of Des Moines, IA. The family moved to Ringgold County in April 1884, and settled on a farm northwest of Tingley. A few years later Mr. Stewart bought a farm adjoining Tingley and moved to that city where the family made their home for many years. Since the death of his life companion twenty-two years ago, Mr. Stewart has made his home with his son W.W. Stewart. For the past three and one-half years, he has been critically ill and for a year and a half has been practically helpless. During his illness, he made his home with his brother near Shannon City where he was tenderly cared for, his son W.W. being with him nearly all the time. In early life, Mr. Stewart confessed his faith in Christ and became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was known as a Christian man, a good citizen, devoted husband and kind father.
