Description	:	Francis George Feiner was born on September 9th, 1931 in Ethan to Albert and Dorothy (Bauer) Feiner and was the second oldest of 11 children. He died on January 18th, 2014 at the Saint Benedict Hospital in Parkston. He was raised in Ethan and graduated from Ethan High School in 1949. After high school he worked for his dad at Ethan Dairy and started trucking. He was drafted for the Korean War in 1951. Read More	Francis George Feiner was born on September 9th, 1931 in Ethan to Albert and Dorothy (Bauer) Feiner and was the second oldest of 11 children. He died on January 18th, 2014 at the Saint Benedict Hospital in Parkston. He was raised in Ethan and graduated from Ethan High School in 1949. After high school he worked for his dad at Ethan Dairy and started trucking. He was drafted for the Korean War in 1951. In the Army he was assigned to a forward ground reconnaissance patrol - a job in which he was injured and lost the sight in his right eye and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was discharged in 1953. On April 15, 1958 he married Berneice Puetz at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ethan. After his return from the war he started Feiner Trucking. At its peak Feiner Trucking had eleven 18 wheelers and was licensed in 18 states. He retired from trucking in 1989 and spent the next 18 winters in Arizona with his wife. His summers back in Ethan were spent hunting, fishing, golfing and watching his grand kids play sports Also at home he enjoyed watching sports on TV with his wife and playing with Kirby (Doug and Beth's) dog. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Ethan American Legion and the VFW. He was also on the Cemetery Board. He is survived by his wife, Berneice; his son, Doug and wife, Beth, of Ethan; his daughter, Denise Wessel of Gilbert, AZ and his grand kids: Amy, Kailey, Ally, Jordan, Samantha and Amaya. He is also survived by his brothers: Keith, Donald, Chuck and David and his sisters: Mary Ann, Therese, Barb and Carol Jean. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Bob and John; eight brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law and his son-in-law, Will.
