Description	:	Francis Glenn "Badge" Dunkeson was born October 20, 1930, to Clarence and Dollie (Moore) Dunkeson in Ridgeway, Missouri. He was raised in Missouri and left home when he was 15 years old. He moved to Oregon and worked for a logging company. He returned to the Dunlap and Moorhead areas to farm at the age of 16. Badge married Thelma Vandivort in February of 1950. The couple farmed and raised purebred Yorkshire boars. In the mid 1990s they moved to Woodbine. Thelma died on April 2, 1998. Read More	Francis Glenn "Badge" Dunkeson was born October 20, 1930, to Clarence and Dollie (Moore) Dunkeson in Ridgeway, Missouri. He was raised in Missouri and left home when he was 15 years old. He moved to Oregon and worked for a logging company. He returned to the Dunlap and Moorhead areas to farm at the age of 16. Badge married Thelma Vandivort in February of 1950. The couple farmed and raised purebred Yorkshire boars. In the mid 1990s they moved to Woodbine. Thelma died on April 2, 1998. Badge enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, fishing, and having coffee with the crew at Warner Implement. Thelma and Badge took care of the White Floral Garden for a few years. Badge had a few rental properties that he enjoyed taking care of as well. Badge died on Monday, January 09, 2006, at Jennie Edmondson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa attaining the age of 75 years, two months, and 20 days. Badge was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Thelma, three brothers, Elden, Alvin, and Bernard; and three sisters, Donna, LaVonne, and Pauline. He is survived by his three children, Pam and her husband Fred Corwin of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Barb and her husband Charlie Johnsen of Woodbine, Iowa, Rick Dunkeson and his wife April of Jasper, Alabama; friend, Marilyn DeMey of Woodbine, Iowa, six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Nina Hopper of Kansas City, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
