Description	:	Frank was born in Fargo, ND. passed away at the age of 93. Frank was the last surviving member of his generation of the Hoss family. He was preceded in death by his parents John P. and Clara (Runser) Hoss and his four brothers and two sisters. In 1935 Frank graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Fargo. He married Marian Gretter in September of 1940. They had six children while living in Fargo, then Jamestown and finally Bismarck, ND. Marian died in 1965. Frank was the last surviving member of his generation of the Hoss family. He was preceded in death by his parents John P. and Clara (Runser) Hoss and his four brothers and two sisters. In 1935 Frank graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Fargo. He married Marian Gretter in September of 1940. They had six children while living in Fargo, then Jamestown and finally Bismarck, ND. Marian died in 1965. Frank married Agnes Ellwein in 1967 and with her two children, blended the families. Agnes preceded him in death in 2007. Throughout his life Frank enjoyed cooking, especially those large dinners for family holidays. His legacy has been passed through his children down to the great grandchildren. Additionally he enjoyed playing bridge and golfing. He thoroughly relished his extended family and the many gatherings and reunions. He was extremely proud of the many travels and adventures of all members of his family. Frank is survived by his sons Dave (Stephanie Lee), Great Falls, MT; Jim (Kathy), Fargo, ND; Bill (Pat), Omaha, NE; Tony (Mary), Puyallup, WA; Chris (Kala – deceased in 2005), Highlands Ranch, CO; Hubert Ellwein (Kathy Kuzeja), Seattle, WA; and daughters Dorothy (Vic) San Antonio, TX; and Carmella Ellwein, FL.; along with 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. No VISITATION, FUNERAL SERVICE 10am Friday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 15353 Pacific Street, Omaha, NE, The Hoss family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations or remembrances be made to the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Parish. He will be interred in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bismarck, ND, on Monday, Sept. 20, at 11am. ROEDER MORTUARY 2727 North 108th St. 496-9000
