Description	:	Francis J. Parsley, age 78, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Jenkins Living Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Dempster officiating. Judy Everson will be the soloist accompanied by Marcia Jelsma. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown and for one hour prior to the services on Thursday. Parsley, age 78, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Jenkins Living Center. Francis John Parsley was born on August 16, 1939, to John and Florence (Woods) Parsley in rural Hazel, SD. He graduated from Hazel High School in 1958. After graduation Francis worked for Castlewood Creamery, Flax Straw and many years with Knight’s Construction of Webster, SD. On January 6, 1968, Francis married Alana “Lonnie” Weber in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown. They made their home for a short time in Hazel and then moved to Watertown. Lonnie passed away on December 29, 1991. In 2002 Francis married Arlene Tarum and they lived in Watertown. Francis became a resident at Jenkins Living Center in November of 2014. Francis loved collecting toy tractors and working outdoors. Francis is survived by his wife, Arlene of Watertown; one sister, Ellen Meisenheimer of Lowry, MN; his cousins, two nieces, one grandniece and one grandnephew.
