Sheriff Dwyer and Coroner Oelke from Pierce arrived on the morning train to hold an inquest. Loomer and his wife did not get on well together this winter. She left him and he for a time stayed here and took care of the little children. Then, she came back. And, this morning he ended his life. Loomer was abut 35 years old.--Norfolk News. Loomer, who was a quarter Indian, married the divorced wife of James Triplett. They lived in a house rented by Triplett, who visited quite often. They appeared to be on the best of terms. The Tripletts lived in the Creighton and Winnetoon vicinities. The Loomers were married at Niobrara, January 1, 1909.* ...The Creighton News 30 April 1909 Further research has shown that Francis Loomer was the son of James Loomer and Mary Zoey Sherman. She is buried in L'Eau Qui Court. *Since the Loomers had been married only a few months, the children had to belong to Triplett.
