Description	:	Flora Mae Christy, daughter of Frank and Rebecca Galloupe, was born May 15, 1876 at Winterset, Iowa, and passes away at St. Joseph's hospital in Centerville, Iowa March 27, 1964, at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 12 days. She was united in marriage to Rosell Christy on June 17, 1897. She lived in the Genoa and Seymour communities her entire life until a year ago w hen she moved to Brazil. Read More	Flora Mae Christy, daughter of Frank and Rebecca Galloupe, was born May 15, 1876 at Winterset, Iowa, and passes away at St. Joseph's hospital in Centerville, Iowa March 27, 1964, at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 12 days. She was united in marriage to Rosell Christy on June 17, 1897. She lived in the Genoa and Seymour communities her entire life until a year ago w hen she moved to Brazil. To this union were born 14 children. She was preceded in death by her husband and nine children, her parents, three sisters, and three brothers. She leaves 5 children to mourn her passing, Mrs. Eve Larkey of Calif., Mrs. Cora Foster of Brazil, Aubrey of Iconium, Wilbur of Florida, and Everett of the home. She was a long time member of Seymour Baptist church. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral was at 3 p.m., Tuesday March 31, at the Liggett Funeral home with burial in the Southlawn cemetery. Rev. W.M. Cleeton read the services and Mr. James Anderson, Jr. Sang the requested hymns, accompanied by Mrs. Harley Merritt. Pallbearers were grandsons.
