He was a long-time member of the East End Presbyterian church, where he served as an elder for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura B. Cox; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Richards of Waterloo, and one son, Donald Cox of Ottumwa. He is survived by one half sister and seven half brothers, Will Noah, Des Moines; Andrew Noah, Glendale, Calif.; Roy Cox, Bert Cox, Archie Cox, Alonzo Cox, Earl Cox and Mrs. Hazel Andrews, all of Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday from the East End Presbyterian church in charge of the Rev. George T. Hubbard, with burial in Shaul cemetery. The casket will remain at the Johnson funeral chapel until noon on Monday, when it will be taken to the church and closed at the beginning of the service.
