Description	:	Francis Marion (Peewee) O'Steen, 66, of 2429 Union Hwy., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at his residence. Born in Pacolet, he was the husband of Patricia Bloomer O'Steen and son of the late John Ray O'Steen and Minnie Sprouse O'Steen. He was an electrician and of the Church of God faith. Born in Pacolet, he was the husband of Patricia Bloomer O'Steen and son of the late John Ray O'Steen and Minnie Sprouse O'Steen. He was an electrician and of the Church of God faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Dewayne O'Steen of Inman; a stepson, Robert Scott Owens and wife, Tammy, of Gaffney; three stepdaughters, Roxane O. Valeka and husband, Dane, Shelley O. LeCroy and husband, Robert, and Angela O. Cole and husband, Wylie, all of Gaffney; one grandchild; 12 step-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; four brothers, Devore O'Steen and wife, Diane, of Pacolet, Robert O'Steen and wife, Cathy, of Gaffney, Danny O'Steen of Gaffney and Johnny O'Steen and wife, Nancy, of Chesnee; and two sisters, Mary Snow and husband, Melvin, of Startex and Emma Pettigrew of Inman. In addition to his parents, Mr. O'Steen was preceded in death by a brother, Edward O'Steen. Graveside services were held Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. George Fizer officiating. The family received friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1886, Gaffney, S.C. 29342.
