Description	:	FRANK TAYLOR Frank Taylor, one of the well known farmers of the vicinity of Masonville, died at his home Saturday morning,, March 19th, 1921, after a brief illness of pneumonia. Funeral services were held in Immaculate Conception church of Masonville Monday morning, Rev. Father Lonergen as celebrant; Rev. T. Rooney of Manchester, deacon, and Rev. J. Linkenmeyer of Lamont as sub-deacon. Internment was made in St. Mary's cemetery at Masonville. Mr. Taylor was born in Auburn, New York, in 1852, In 1855 he moved with his parents to Dubuque, Iowa, and 1869 he came to Masonville, where he has since resided. In 1897 he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Woods of Masonville. To this union eight children were born, four of whom survive. Besides the widow he leaves to mourn his loss two daughters, Agatha and Ruth, two sons, John Joseph and Louis; two sisters Mrs. Thomas O"Toole of Independence and Miss Delia Taylor of Lawler, also two brothers, George Taylor of Lawler and Thomas Taylor of Masonville. Mr. Taylor was a devout member of the Roman Catholic church, and was highly respected by the people of his community. His death brings deep sorrow to the home, and profound sympathy is felt for the bereaved family. Manchester Democrat - Manchester, Iowa - March 23, 1921
