He had lived in the community 34 years and was employed by the police department 24 years. Mr. Law was born Dec. 25, 1891 at Fort Dodge, son of Harvey and Eva (Wade) Law. He had lived in the community 34 years and was employed by the police department 24 years. Mr. Law was born Dec. 25, 1891 at Fort Dodge, son of Harvey and Eva (Wade) Law. He was married to Dorothy Hennings, April 21, 1918 at Camp Dodge. He served during World War I and with the U.S. Army in the Hawaiian Islands from 1912 to 1915. He was a member of Clausen-Worden Post 101 of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Frank, in a submarine base at New London, Conn.; Duane, on the U.S.S. Hazelwood, Newport, R.I., and Donn, at Andover, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Ira Jones, Monticello, Ind. and Ethel Mayer, Belleville, Ill., and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Patterson-James Funeral Home is in charge.
