Description	:	Frank A. Vetter, 88, of Braddock, ND, died July 30, 2009 at the Linton Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, August 2, 2009 at St. Katherine’s Catholic Church, Braddock, ND with the Reverend Gary Benz officiating. Vetter, 88, of Braddock, ND, died July 30, 2009 at the Linton Hospital. Burial will be in the Braddock Cemetery. Frank was born February 28, 1921 on a farm in the Winona, ND area, the son of Allois and Amelia (Bosch) Vetter. He attended school in the Twin Falls, Idaho. The family returned to North Dakota and settled on the Vetter Family Farm west of Linton. Frank married May Blossom Doolittle on June 28, 1948 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Following their marriage, they lived in Linton until moving to a farm southeast of Braddock in 1950. Frank farmed until retiring in his early 50s but continued to live on the farm. He was a member of South Central Threshing Association, Linton Senior Citizens, and the Moose Lodge. Frank enjoyed fishing, playing cards, water skiing, eating, gambling, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and visiting with his family and friends. The family would like to thank Vic and Lois Baumgartner and Edward Peterson for all their wonderful care given to Frank over the past years. Frank died on July 30, 2009 at the Linton Hospital. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Clarence and Debbie Vetter of Surprise, AZ; two daughters and sons-in-law: Jennifer and Robert Bjerke of Bismarck, ND and Becky and Rollin Alm of Marine on St. Croix, MN; eight grandchildren: Natalie (Kevin), Cindy, Adrienne (Aaron), Aaron, Amber, Ashly, Melissa (Ryan), and Megan; ten great grandchildren: Bobby, Gavin, Katia, Cody, Ryan, Garrett, Isabelle, Aaron Jurgen “AJ”, Oliver and Fletcher and one sister, Katie Qualls of Florence, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 2005; five brothers: John, Ole, Jake, Christ and Joe and five sisters: Barbara Piercy, Martha Krumm, Ann Wolf, Helen Masset, and Betty Wagner.
