Description	:	Frank Anthony Drent 88 of Hickman, NE passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. Born September 12, 1928 at Hickman, NE to Martin & Sarah (Liesveld) the youngest of 8 children. He was baptized and confirmed at the Reformed Church at Holland, NE and was a lifetime member. He spent his youth on the family farm, attended School District #12 at Holland and graduated from Hickman High School in the class of 1945. Read More	Frank Anthony Drent 88 of Hickman, NE passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. Born September 12, 1928 at Hickman, NE to Martin & Sarah (Liesveld) the youngest of 8 children. He was baptized and confirmed at the Reformed Church at Holland, NE and was a lifetime member. He spent his youth on the family farm, attended School District #12 at Holland and graduated from Hickman High School in the class of 1945. He joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War Conflict. Upon returning home he helped with the farming and he lived with his parents to help take care of them until their death. He remained on the family farm until he moved to Gramercy Hill Assisted Living in Lincoln due to health concerns and lived there 5 years. Survivors include sister Jean Boesiger, sisters-in-law Willa Mae Drent, Lois Drent, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother Julius and wife Annette, Gerald and wife Gertrude, Merle, Lloyd, sisters Florence (Clarence) Boesiger, brother-in-law Orville Boesiger, Dean Hartzell, nephew Harlan Drent, Laurin Drent, niece Joyce Boesiger. Visitation will Sunday 1-6pm and with the family present from 1-3pm all at the Hickman, Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home. The Funeral will be Monday, January 18, 2016 at 1:30pm at the Holland Church in Holland, NE. Memorials to Holland Church. Pastor Vic Folkert officiating. Burial will follow at the Holland Cemetery.
