Mr. Baloun, a brother of Emil Baloun, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Blue Valley Home in Hebron. The brothers had the same birthdates, March 24. Frank Baloun being three years older than Emil Baloun. ========================== The Deshler Rustler (Deshler, NE), Wednesday, October 22, 1958; pg. 4 OBITUARY OF FRANK BALOUN Frank Baloun was born on March 24, 1880, and passed away October 7, 1958, at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 13 days. The early part of his life was spent in Saline County. On May 15, 1901, he was united in marriage to Barbara Belohlary. To this union six children were born, five daughters and one son. They spent all their life in the vicinity of Hubbell and Chester. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1937; two daughters, one in infancy in 1903 and Olga in 1936; his parents; one sister, Mary; and three brothers, Joe, James and Emil, the latter just three hours before he died. Mourning his departure are his children, Sylvia, Mrs. A.R. Campbell, of Hebron; Helen, Mrs. Norman Crawford, of Deshler; John of Stockton, Calif.; and Rose, Mrs. Carl Larsson, of New York. Also surviving are a brother and sister, Ed Baloun and Mrs. Pauline Koci, of Crete; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Oct. 12 at Montgomery Chapel in Hebron with the Rev. H.C. Damm, Hebron, officiating. Burial was made in the Chester Cemetery.
