Description	:	Frank Baggott of Navarre, Florida, was called home by our loving Heavenly Father early on the morning of October 31, 2016. He was 91 years, 10 months, and 15 days old and had lead a remarkably full life. Frank was born in Fountain, Bay County, Florida, north of Panama City, on December 15, 1924. He began his high school days at Bay County High but graduated from Bolles Military Academy in Jacksonville, Florida in 1945. Read More	Frank Baggott of Navarre, Florida, was called home by our loving Heavenly Father early on the morning of October 31, 2016. He was 91 years, 10 months, and 15 days old and had lead a remarkably full life. Frank was born in Fountain, Bay County, Florida, north of Panama City, on December 15, 1924. He began his high school days at Bay County High but graduated from Bolles Military Academy in Jacksonville, Florida in 1945. Immediately after high school, he volunteered for service in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was stationed in Texas at the end of World War II. He received his bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where he met a cute high school girl over a peanut butter sandwich in the basement of First Baptist Church. Three years later, he finally succeeded in getting her to marry him. He returned to Bolles School to teach American History. After the birth of his daughter, Frank attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he earned his Master’s in Theology. His first pastorate was Woodlawn Baptist Mission which became a church while he was there. Shortly after the birth of his son, Frank enlisted as a Chaplain in the U.S. Navy. He served for 25 years in various locations around the globe. Following his retirement from the Navy, he began working for the Southern Baptist Convention Foreign Mission Board pastoring churches in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany; Quito, Ecuador; and Clearwater Bay, New Territories, Hong Kong (China). Frank was a very active, long time member of First Baptist Church–Gulf Breeze. He helped his wife, Faye, create a church library there and also expand and enhance the Navarre Public Library. He loved golf, jogging, participating in foot races, watching the Florida Gators football games on television with his daughter, and old cowboy shows. Most of all, he loved people and serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be missed.
