Frank Jr., son Frank Beach Sr. and Celia May (Southworth) Beach, was born June 29,1911, at Idaho Falls, Idaho. He grew up in Burley, Idaho, graduating from Burley High School. Frank then attended the University of California-Berkley for two years followed by a year at Idaho State University in Moscow, Idaho. On April 7, 1935, Frank was united in marriage with his college sweetheart Martha Dee Kisler at Lind, Washington. One son, David, was born to this union. They made their home in Burley until 1942 when they moved to Coon Rapids. In 1947 they built their home on 4th Avenue in Coon Rapids. Frank was a professional beekeeper and established over one thousand colonies of honeybees in Carroll, Greene, Audubon and Guthrie Counties. After Martha died in July of 1991, Frank was able to remain in their home in Coon Rapids until September of 1998, when he became a resident of the Bayard Nursing and Rehab Center in Bayard. Throughout his life, Frank enjoyed operating his Ham radio, photography, being outdoors, fishing, hunting, snow skiing, reading, and playing on his computer. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he served as a board member. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge for nearly 60 years and was a past member of the Masonic Lodge. On Wednesday, September 17, 2003, Frank died at Bayard Nursing and Rehab Center in Bayard. He was 92 years, 2 months and 19 days of age. Besides his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by two sisters Esther Gale and husband Joe and Gladys Montague and husband Harry. He is survived by his son Dr. David Beach and wife Ethel of Terre Haute, Indiana; a granddaughter Danielle; and by other relatives and friends.
