Read More	Child In Arms Of Dead Parent Wife an Invalid In Hospital, Frank Stockler Found Dead With the warm face of his year-and-half-old child pressed against his cold cheek, Frank Stockler, 41, West Cairo, was found dead in bed Monday morning. His wife, almost a hopeless invalid, is a patient at City hospital. She will be unable to attend the funeral. Stockler has been under a strain for the past two years, when an explosion wrecked their home and Mrs. Stockler was horribly burned. Since that time, she has been subjected to several operations to relieve the drawn condition of the skin. She had been removed to the hospital a few days ago, preparatory to submitting to a skin-grafting operation. Mrs. Stockler is a sister to Emmit E. Everett, Lima attorney. Stockler visited her at the hospital Saturday. He complained of feeling badly. When his children went to his room to awaken him Monday morning, they found him dead. The child was sleeping cuddled up in his arms. Stockler is the father of eight children. The skin-grafting process for Mrs. Stockler will be postponed until after Stockler's funeral, but the wife will be unable to leave the hospital because of her condition. Her arms had grown fast to the body. Stockler is a brother to Mrs. Ira Snyder, 1004 W. High-st, and of T. J. Stockler, Ohio Electric motorman, 806 W. North-st. Mrs. N. H. Stull, Spencerville, is a sister. He is survived by three brothers and four sisters. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. (published in The Lima News, Monday, September 12, 1921)
