St., who died June 29, 1991, in his home, will be today at 11 a.m. in St. Timothy's Episcopal church at Gering with the Rev. William Barnds officiating. Private family graveside services will be prior to church services. Memorials hve been established to the church and to the donors choice. Gering Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Gering Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 23, 1912, at Dresden, Ohio, to Harry Cole and Leah Riley (Spencer) Armstrong. He received his early education in the Gambier, Ohio, schools and graduated from high school there in 1930. He married Rilla Ruth (Williston) April 7, 1934, at Wheeling, W. Va. They made teir home at Mount Vernon, Ohio, before moving to Gering. They have since resided at Gering. He entered the U.S. Navy Oct. 13, 1943, where he was a member of the Sea-Bees. He was discharged from the Navy in 1945 at St. Louis. He was a member of the Gering American Legion, a life member of the V.F.W., the church, and the National Rural Letter Carrier Association. Survivors include his wife; son Frank Delno Jr. of Tustin, Calif.; daughter Patricia Wiberg of Roswell, N.M.; sisters Katherine Smith of Bremerton, Wash., and Mary Fancher of Gering; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
