Description	:	The Lawrence Locomotive (Lawrence, NE), Thursday, March 7, 1985 Frank Dewey Kent passed away February 27, 1985 at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. Funeral services were held March 2, 1985 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Rosemont. Vicar Bob Paulson officiated. Deanne Schutte was organist and Joanne Schiermeyer was vocalist for the services. Pallbearers were: Marvin Kent, Joe Merten, Vern Schroer, Ray Slater, David Kent and Richard Kent. He married Alma Elizabeth Kruger in Nelson on May 16, 1917. They lived on the farm until 1966 when they retired to Lawrence where they enjoyed their garden and social activities. Surviving are his wife Alma, a daughter Harriet Schroer of Denver, Colo. a son Raymond Kent of Englewood, Colo., 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Out of town relatives attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Verne A. Schroer, Denver, Colorado; Verne H. Schroer II, of Phoenix, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kent of Englewood, Colo., David Kent of Lakewood, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Luack, of Lakewood, Colorado, Mrs. Gladys Kruger, of Lakewood, Colo., Mrs. Karen Rawson, of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Nel Kent, of Hastings, Richard Kent of Hastings, Melvin Kennedy, of Hastings, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Crawford of Hastings, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Kent of Seward, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Alber, of Roseland, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kent of Hastings and Joe Seefield of Omaha.
