Description	:	Frank Earl Biltoft was born June 25, 1950 at Bassett, NE, to Earl and Mildred (Vandeventer) Biltoft, and passed away on August 18, 2011 at his home in Long Pine, NE. Frank was the eighth of ten children. At a young age the family moved from North of Newport to Long Pine, NE. Frank attended school in Long Pine until Long Pine High School was closed. Read More	Frank Earl Biltoft was born June 25, 1950 at Bassett, NE, to Earl and Mildred (Vandeventer) Biltoft, and passed away on August 18, 2011 at his home in Long Pine, NE. Frank was the eighth of ten children. At a young age the family moved from North of Newport to Long Pine, NE. Frank attended school in Long Pine until Long Pine High School was closed. Frank finished high school in Ainsworth and graduated in 1968. On September 10, 1968, Frank was united in marriage to Kathryn Hapke. To this union, six daughters were born. In October of 1989 the family lost Frank's wife. On June 25, 1991, Frank was united in marriage to Mary Hall Myers. This union gave Frank a step-daughter and step-son. In 1994 one of Frank and Mary's girls got a roommate who quickly became another daughter. Frank worked at Daniels Manufacturing from 1970 until 2007 with brief times away for hog farming, sales, exotic bird raising, custom haying and road maintenance. During these years he developed many friendships that meant a lot to him. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed fishing, playing cards, wood working and anything that involved family. Frank spent lots of time with his children and was very popular with his kids' friends. In 1992 the first of Frank's 12 grandchildren was born. Each and every one of the dozen meant the world to him. Over the last ten years, Frank was plagued with numerous serious health issues and on August 18, 2011, he finally succumbed to them. Frank was preceded in death by step-son Dana Myers; his first wife Kathryn; brothers Melvin, Elmer, Raymond and Charles; sister Doris and parents Earl and Mildred. He is survived by wife Mary Biltoft of Long Pine; daughters Tonda Biltoft of Ainsworth, Faye (John) Potter of Cold Water, MI, Jamie Biltoft of Long Pine, Jeri Biltoft of Ainsworth, Franki Biltoft and Jason Snider of Long Pine, Anita Biltoft and Steve Cole of Ainsworth, Angela (Mitch) Axmann of Grand Island, NE and Mary Lynn Tunender of Long Pine; 12 grandchildren; brothers Marvin of Omaha, NE, Robert of North Platte, NE and John and wife Pat of Midway, AR; sister Dora (Bill) Cross of Page, NE; sisters-in-law Leona (Harp) Biltoft of Ainsworth and Mary Ann (Brown) Biltoft of Atkinson, NE; mother-in-law Charlotte Leader of Lincoln, NE; many nieces and nephews, along with other family and close friends. Memorial Services were held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Ainsworth Assembly of God Church in Ainsworth with Pastor Gary Graesser officiating the service. Music was provided by Marjorie Wilkins with a congregational song selection of “The Old Rugged Cross” being sung. Special CD selections of “Daddy’s Hands” by the Judds as well as “Go Rest High On That Mountain” by Vince Gill were provided. The eulogy was read by his brother Robert Biltoft. Honorary Pallbearers were past and present co-workers at Daniels Manufacturing Co. Inurnment followed at the Grandview Cemetery in Long Pine, NE under the direction of Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth. Memorials were designated to the family in his name.
